IKEA Korea recently opened up its first branch in Gwangmyeong-si in the southwest of Seoul . The completed store at the time was the largest IKEA store constructed.
We were employed as consultants and project managers to assist local contractors with the roof and wall cladding installation. Responsibilities included on site installation supervision to ensure the installation was carried out to the exacting high standards required. The project consists of approx 25000M2 of Kingspan Topdeck and 13000M2 of Kingspan architectural wall panel systems along with 1000M2 of Kingspan Benchmark Architctural Rainscreen System, which form the external façade to the new IKEA Superstore.
